Together, never alone
A parent, guardian, teacher, or authorized adult supervises every child using the app or observing wildlife.
Inclusion and safeguarding
WildPause welcomes family learning while keeping every youth interaction guardian-led and private.
A parent, guardian, teacher, or authorized adult supervises every child using the app or observing wildlife.
No youth profile, messaging, followers, public post, attendance, roster, precise location, photo upload, or targeted advertising.
Large touch targets, high contrast, optional larger text, reduce-motion support, meaningful headings, and no time pressure.
Adults invite children to notice weather, cover, sound, and distance instead of guessing injury or trying to help physically.
The app stores no location. Families are encouraged not to post precise nest, den, roost, or vulnerable-animal locations.
If wildlife watches, flees, freezes, vocalizes, or changes course because of the group, increase distance and end the activity.

A photograph is never a reason to shrink the safety buffer. Children must never approach, touch, feed, capture, transport, or photograph wildlife alone.
