No. All 42 cards, safety information, sources, and policy text are bundled in the app. Reference URLs are displayed as text and are not opened by WildPause.

This page supports the WildPause Android product. It is not wildlife intake, rescue dispatch, a hotline, or an emergency channel.
Frequently asked questions
What does the app store?
Only optional larger-text and reduce-motion preferences. It stores no account, note, photo, case, or location.
How do I reset settings?
Open Privacy, then choose Reset local settings. Android Clear storage or uninstalling the app also removes the preferences.
Why is there no hotline?
Organizations, permits, locations, species scopes, and availability can change. WildPause does not publish a live service directory or promise response.
Can it identify an injured animal?
No. The cards provide neutral observation context but cannot diagnose injury, illness, orphan status, rabies risk, or need for rehabilitation.
Can a child use it alone?
No. A parent, guardian, teacher, or authorized adult must supervise youth use and every wildlife observation.
Why are animations limited?
WildPause uses restrained signal-ring motion. The reduce-motion preference is on by default, and the website honors the system reduced-motion setting.
Where is account deletion?
There is no account or server profile. Resetting settings, clearing app storage, or uninstalling removes the only local preferences.
How do I report wildlife?
Choose a current licensed rehabilitator, wildlife authority, animal control, public health, or emergency service appropriate to the situation. The Source Shelf explains authoritative categories without making a service referral.
